STEP 1

Files are visible on the left.

Explorer shows folders and files of the project. Click on the file to open it in the editor.

✦ A project is a folder, and the files live inside it.

STEP 2

Open Search on the left or press Ctrl+Shift+F on Windows/Linux, Cmd+Shift+F on Mac. Enter the word you want to find.

✦ VS Code will show which files contain the word.

TRY IT YOURSELF

Create two Python files in your project. Write the word «Привет» in one of them and find it by searching the project.
