SITE RULES

Terms of Use

Simple rules for using Codeway. Effective October 4, 2026.

1. What Codeway does

Codeway is a free learning site with lesson notes, practice and exercise checks. You can read the notes without an account. An account is needed to save answers, progress and scores.

2. Account

Registration requires a name, email address and password. You may use a nickname. Keep your password and recovery code safe and do not share them. If a child uses the account, a parent or legal guardian should help them understand these rules and manage the account.

3. Exercises and results

You keep the rights to the code you submit for exercises. Codeway stores it to check it and show it in your account. Checks are automated for learning: another correct solution may be rejected. Scores show your result on this site and do not certify professional qualifications.

4. Acceptable use

Do not try to access other people’s accounts, disrupt the site or submit harmful content through exercises. External sites linked from lessons have their own rules.

5. Data and account deletion

The data we store and how we use it are described in the privacy policy. You can delete your account and learning results in your profile. They cannot be restored through the site afterward.

6. Changes to the site and terms

Lessons, features and these terms may change. The date of the current version is shown on this page. If you disagree with new terms, you can stop using the site and delete your account.

7. Contact

Project owner: Radomir (nickname). For questions about the site or your account, write to radomirvedomir@gmail.com.
