STEP 1

Switch the files.

Open two files. Everyone lives in their tab. Click on the tab of the desired file to quickly return to it.

✦ A closed tab does not delete the file itself.

STEP 2

If you accidentally erase the letters, press Ctrl+Z, on Mac — Cmd+Z. That reverses the last change. Then check the text.
