Command palette

STEP 1

Look for action by name

Press Ctrl+Shift+P, on Mac - Cmd+Shift+P. The command list will open. Start writing the action title and VS Code will show you the options.

✦ You don’t have to remember which menu each command is hidden in.

STEP 2

Find the command View: Toggle Word Wrap. It carries long lines for ease of reading. Repeat the command to bring the view back.

✦ The command palette changes the action of the editor, not the text of the program.
